Our team here at Chemboys has been observing the Gardening Industry for a while now, and we struggle to understand how our competitors can recommend anything besides pure isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Any product that doesn’t have extremely high evaporation rates (like our THClean IPA), just means the cleaner will remain in contact with the plant or trimming equipment longer, potentially causing unwanted interactions. In addition, these other products don’t have heavily studied decomposition reactions. With our proven pure THClean, the reaction for breakdown is well known. Here’s a description of the decomposition dating back to 1975, knowledge that has been known for decades:

“Reactions occurring were essentially homogeneous and, for reaction times corresponding to < 30 % conversion, led to the formation of hydrogen and acetone, together with smaller amounts of water and propene” (J. Chem. Soc., Faraday Trans. 1, 1975,71, 2405-2412  )

So,

THClean Isopropanol breaks down to Acetone, Water, Hydrogen, and Propene.

Hydrogen (H2 Molecular Representation)

Propene (Molecular Representation)

Acetone then further evaporates rapidly, even from water and soil. Once in the atmosphere, it has a 22-day half-life and is degraded by UV light via photolysis further.

Essentially,

THClean Isopropyl Alcohol is the best product for you BECAUSE it is potent, and biodegradable. IPA breaks down into water, hydrogen, propene, and acetone – these are all common, naturally occurring compounds, and nothing that would remain in any appreciable amount when making high quality end products. Using another “natural” or “alternative” cleaner sounds great on paper, but there is a lack of evidence on the after-effects of using these products. You have no idea what sticks around afterwards, and what will eventually make its way into your end products that are consumed by your customers for their medical and recreational uses.

Choose THClean. The Smarter Choice.
